About
Joseph’s House is a ministry to reach out to those who are in need spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We are a safe place that sits on the property of Living Hope Baptist Church.
Our mission is to serve the community by providing food items, clothing for adults and children, and counseling. We do not offer any monetary help under any circumstances.
Joseph’s House is in memory of a young man named Joseph Thompson. He was the son of Joey and Susan Thompson, the founders of Living Hope Baptist Church. Joseph lived courageously for many years with Muscular Dystrophy. He was loved by all who knew him for his kind heart and servant’s attitude.
We pray that Joseph’s House will honor his legacy by touching lives in our community and point them towards the love and grace of Jesus.

How can you receive items from Joseph’s House?
Joseph’s House will be open on designated Saturday's from 9:00-11:00 am (see calendar below). This will be for people who are in need ONLY. Canned or packaged food, clothing, blankets, toys, or possible school supplies for children will be handed out. It will be on a first come, first served basis. There will be limitations on what you can take per visit. You will be asked to fill out an information card as you enter the premises of Joseph’s House. This is for us to track what we give away and who is receiving the items.
How can you help?
We have donation bins in front of Joseph’s House that items can be placed in on any day from 6:00 am – 8:00 pm. See our “Needs” list below of items we are currently needing. We ask that you only provide items on this list PLEASE.
Joseph’s House will be regularly patrolled by law enforcement, as well as staff.
