What can you expect at Living Hope Baptist Church?

WHAT TIME DOES SERVICE BEGIN?

Our Sunday mornings start off with Coffee, Donuts, and Fellowship at 9:00 am. At 9:30 am our Connect Groups will start up in the west hallway, where you can study and go deep in the word with a small group of people grouped by age or stages in life. If you have children you can check them in at our KidsTown starting at 9:15 am Our Worship Service then starts promptly at 10:30 am and we try to wrap it up around 11:30 am.

LOCATION/WHERE DO I PARK?

Our building is located at 6310 Lyons Road in Garland, TX. Videos are posted below for you to see how to get here from I-30 or from Bobtown. As you head down Lyons Road you'll see our Living Hope sign and signs on where to pull in. Follow the signs to the south parking lot where we have visitor parking setup. It's a good idea to arrive about 10-15 minutes early, especially if you have children who will be checking into our KidsTown.

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I WALK IN?

As you walk into our main entrance under the metal cover, you'll see our welcome desk where you will be greeted by one of our team members. They will provide you with a welcome bag and any details you need to know about Living Hope. They will show you directions to the Sanctuary, or if you have children, to the KidsTown check-in station.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We are very happy that you are considering to join us this Sunday and we want you to feel comfortable. You'll see people wearing suits, shorts, and business slacks. While others still prefer their "Sunday Best,” you have the freedom to dress how you are comfortable. We want you to be more focused on the service and worshiping than worried about what you are wearing here at Living Hope.

WHERE DO MY CHILDREN GO?

Living Hope loves children! We have set up a fun, creative, and safe learning environment for your children. You will be greeted on the east-side of the building as you come in. There will be a childrens’ host available to check your child into their classroom or the nursery. We will ask for your name, the name of your child, and for any special concerns we need to be aware of. We will then walk your child to their classroom. It’s as easy as pie!

(If a concern arises, you can give us your cell phone number and we will text you in your connect group or during the service.)

What to bring? If you have an infant, please bring any bottles, diapers, change of clothes, and any other necessary items to help make your child comfortable.

Safety and Security? The safety of your child is our top priority. We want you to feel comfortable as you worship and know that your child is in great hands with experienced day care workers and Bible teachers. Our team have ALL gone through back-ground checks, child care training, and leadership training through Living Hope. Our children’s director and check-in host that stand watching all classes while children are present in KidsTown. We also have our safety/security team members that are constantly watching main entrances for extra peace of mind. We will give you a number badge as you drop off your child. No one will be able to pick up your child without this specific number badge.

HOW LONG IS SERVICE?

Our service each morning begins at 10:30 am. On most occasions, we finish our worship service between 11:30-11:45 am.

WHERE SHOULD I GO WHEN SERVICE IS OVER?

If you are new to Living Hope Baptist Church, we would love to have the opportunity to connect with you. Be sure to put your visitor card in the offering plate when it is passed around. After the service some of us gather in the Fellowship Cafe at the back of the Sanctuary to fellowship with each other. We would love to have the opportunity to get to know you!

If you have children, we ask that you pick up your child from the “KidsTown” area, then come to the Cafe to fellowship for a few minutes.

We would also love to give you a gift bag at the welcome desk before you leave.
