When an Angel appeared to Mary and said,
you will deliver God's son.
Don't be afraid, because this is God's plan,
and he was the one.
Mary was scared because she had a child,
and did not know what to do.
So the Angel appeared again said,
God has chosen you.
When Jesus grew up to become a man,
He knew it was time to go.
So He left his home, and all he had,
to follow His Father's plan.
God told Jesus to go to the shore,
where he could find some men.
So he saw a few standing around,
but knew he needed a few more.
You over there, will you follow me,
I'm the truth and life.
You will find your life complete,
just wait, and you'll see.
When Jesus came to this Earth,
He knew what He must do.
To go and show the world His love,
by giving His life to you.
For God so loved the world he gave,
His one and only son.
That if you believe in His holy name,
He would die just for one.
Three years has passed,
and his work is almost complete.
The disciples asked,
can we not meet?
Jesus said, no!
This is my Father's plan,
I must die,
can't you understand?
The Disciples looked like they just lost hope,
for a man that didn't believe.
But Jesus said I will return again,
you just wait and see.
When Jesus came to this Earth,
He knew what He must do.
To go and show the world His love,
by giving His life to you.
For God so loved the world he gave,
His one and only son.
That if you believe in His holy name,
He would die just for one.
When Jesus prayed in the garden that night,
He said, Father does it have to be me.
I'm sorry Son, it has to be done, can't you see.
The Disciples were mad and ready to fight,
but Jesus said no, and walked out of their sight.
As Jesus sat in his prison cell,
the solider were mocking, laughing at will.
So your the one who claims to be Christ,
I bet your wishing, and thinking twice.
When the soldiers put the crown of thorns on His head,
the angels cried out, let it be me instead.
God said no, it has to be my son,
He came to die for everyone.
As Jesus stood waiting to be beat,
the blood from his head was dripping to his feet.
Satan was smiling, as if he had won,
but Jesus said, I must be the one.
When the soldier began to whip Jesus back,
he dropped to his knees like a sack.
Screams came out from this man,
but Jesus cried as he began to stand.
Carry your cross to the hill ahead,
for your time is near, soon you will be dead.
Someone pick up His cross, and hand it to him,
Jesus said it's OK, I'll take to the end.
When Jesus came to this Earth,
He knew what He must do.
To go and show the world His love,
by giving His life to you.
For God so loved the world he gave,
His one and only son.
That if you believe in His holy name,
He would die just for one.
As he laid on the cross, waiting to be nailed.
Soldiers were mocking, and laughing still.
Jesus didn't fight, nor call His angels at hand,
Because He knew His Father's will,
Had to go as plan.
As they struck the nail thru His hands real deep,
Jesus knew they still had his feet.
As they lifted the cross, Jesus cried out in pain,
Forgive them Father, please don't blame.
They don't understand what they are to do,
with a man who claims to be just like you.
As Jesus hung on the cross all day,
the thief asked Jesus is their another way.
Because you believe who I claim to be,
today you will live for eternity.
The angels ask God to please lend a hand,
your Son doesn't need to be this man.
Jesus said with his dying breath,
I love you all, I give you my death.
The Angels turned to God and cried,
why was your plan for your Son to die?
This is the only way for all to see,
that my son paid the ultimate fee.
When they took him down off the cross,
Mary and James felt the loss.
As they laid him in the dark cold tomb,
little did they know they would see him soon.
When Mary came to visit Jesus one day,
she noticed the door had rolled away.
So she looked inside to see Jesus face,
but instead she saw an empty space
So she ran to tell that Jesus was gone,
But the Disciples were sleeping
because it was dawn.
Someone has taken Jesus she said,
but the Lord appeared, and said, do I look dead?
The Disciples ask are you alive?
Jesus just smiled, open your eyes.
Jesus told them I'm alive and well,
If you can't believe would you like to feel.
Thomas stuck his hand in his side,
and fell to the ground and began to cry.
I'm sorry my Lord for the lack of trust,
can you forgive, please God you must.
I will do what you want me to do,
even giving my life up for you.
Jesus said before he departs,
now you have a brand new start.
Go tell the world I am the lamb,
The king of Kings, and the Great I Am!
